Two bus routes and two vintage tram tours let you travel between different parts of the city at your own pace, with stops where you can leave the vehicle and explore before continuing your journey.
Two bus routes, from Belém to the modern waterfront
Ride an open-top double-decker bus through the historic district of Belém, taking in the Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries along the route. The Modern Lisbon bus tour heads towards Parque das Nações, passing the Lisbon Oceanarium, the National Tile Museum and the city’s contemporary waterfront. The two routes cover distinct areas, giving you scope to focus on monumental Lisbon or continue towards its newer waterside districts.
Explore the hills and royal heritage by tram
The Hills Tram hop-on hop-off tour follows much of the famous Tram 28 route. Get off at Estrela or Miradouro Portas do Sol to explore Alfama, scenic viewpoints, São Jorge Castle and Lisbon Cathedral. The Royal & Legacy tour adds a different perspective, tracing Lisbon’s royal heritage through its avenues, museums and historic landmarks.
