Additional Information & Description
The Lisbon Pass brings together Jerónimos Monastery and the National Palace of Pena, pairing two architectural visits in one package. Its components extend beyond admission tickets: a hop-on hop-off bus tour covers city sightseeing, while a smartphone audio guide adds commentary to independent walks through Lisbon.
Inside Jerónimos Monastery
Enter a National Monument recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. The monastery ticket includes admission and access to the 16th-century cloister and the former monks’ refectory, giving you specific spaces to explore within this significant expression of Portuguese identity and culture. Look up at the frescoed vaulted ceilings as you move through the interior. The visit places the building’s architectural detail alongside rooms that once formed part of monastic life.
Pena Palace and its park
The Pena component includes entrance to both the palace and Pena Park in the Sintra region. Once a monastery, this mountain retreat became a private palace under King Ferdinand II. The restored building provides the royal-history element of the pass; the surrounding park adds a separate outdoor visit among exotic plant life. A shuttle transfer between the park and palace is included only if that option is selected.
Explore by bus and tram
The Yellow Bus hop-on hop-off tour lets you explore at your own pace, with a duration of 24 or 48 hours depending on your selection. The 24-hour option covers the Belém Lisbon Tour. Choosing 48 hours adds the Modern Lisbon Tour, broadening the route coverage. This component also includes entry to the Museu da Carris and access to Carris public trams, extending your sightseeing beyond the bus itself.
Local commentary on your phone
The POPGuide audio guide app covers more than 25 points of interest, including Belém Tower and the 25 de Abril Bridge. Visuals, descriptions and audio commentary by local experts provide context as you explore without a group or fixed schedule. Offline interactive digital maps and navigation support your independent walks.
Digital ticket access
The pass supports smartphone tickets and instant ticket delivery. These digital access features accompany the package’s attraction, transport and audio-guide components.
