Pena Palace and its surrounding park
Colourful Pena Palace blends architectural styles in a mountain retreat that was once a monastery. King Ferdinand II transformed it into a private palace, giving the visit a royal story as well as a striking setting. Your ticket includes entrance to both the palace and Pena Park, where exotic plants and distinctive garden features extend the visit outdoors. A shuttle between the park and the palace is included only if that option is selected.
Walk the Castle of the Moors
Entrance to this 10th-century Moorish monument takes you onto scenic pathways overlooking Sintra, Pena Palace and the hills beyond. The visit also introduces the castle’s history and the Moorish conquest, with ancient artifacts from the Bronze Age, Iron Age and Neolithic period adding a much longer historical perspective. The views and archaeological material give this stop a different focus from the royal residence. A castle audio guide app is included if selected.
Travel on bus lines 434 and 435
The 24-hour hop-on hop-off bus ticket gives you access to lines 434 and 435, so you can leave the bus to explore and board again during its validity. Route 434 connects Sintra Station with the Moorish Castle and Pena Palace. The service also lets you travel around Sintra’s attractions, including Quinta da Regaleira; admission to that estate is not part of this bundle.

A separate town audio guide covers 15 points of interest, pairing visuals and descriptions with commentary by local experts. Each location has up to two minutes of audio. Use the offline interactive maps and navigation to follow mapped routes or choose your own course through Sintra.
